Two mermaids of prehistoric species I like. Both species were giant deadly top predators of their day that ate large sharks for breakfast. It may or may not migrate to scraps.

Basilosaurus - prehistoric whale (80+ feet)
Dunkleosteus - armor plated fish (30+ feet)

I think that's the first time I've seen merfolk out of prehistoric creatures. Great idea! I like the claws on the one.

I love how in-depth you explore the basis of your pieces! I especially adore your Egyptian pieces, but your mer-folk are not only imaginative but they're also historically accurate, and I think that's a great quality!

Hehe, you've changed my image of an armor plated fish from a big scary underwater tank into a silly buck-toothed fishy XDDD I've never thought of their odd fang/beaks as being goofy bucked teeth!

I could have made them scarier, but they're the same shape as the fishy, just humansized.
