Olé!

An evolved colorsketch page of some spanish-dancer nudibranch merpeople. Spanish dancers are one of the most graceful & flashy animals in the ocean, plus it is a seaslug, which makes it 100 times cooler. :D

The red one is Kiziko, there is also a random yellowish one, and Glaucer (blue) is taking a spanish-dancer form for fun.

*watches them do the undersea meringue*

I once saw those on a nature documentary. I never would've thought you could associate the word 'beautiful' with a slug.

Much kudos for integrating the essence of the creature with semi-humanoid shape. Plus you've got the movement down pat. I can see in my minds eye them dancing among brightly colored corals and fish in some underwater carnival.

So colorful! This is super vibrant which I'm sure attests to the flair that the kind of seaslug has (i've never seen them...not a huge fan lol). I love the forms that come out of they're body shape too! Like Kiziko's hair ends being a part of the seaslugs flat edges; so clever. Plus the edges are smooth so you created and even bigger sense of movement.

Too long to read...lol...friggin awesome piece Chael!
