It's my nixie girl Ninfea (Italian for Water Lily) from my story Totemica. I'm on a character design spree, & this is the second in the Totemica watercolor series I'm currently working on. Watercolors are very fun and I think I'm addicted, plus my computer broke so no digital art for a hell of a long time. ;)

As I said in Lynce's Indigo nixie pic: Nixies are powerful water sprites from Germanic mythology that have a mermaid form in the water, and a human form on land, and they can shapeshift at will. Of course they are my favorite mythological creatures. Ninfea is one of my favorite characters for many reasons... I wish she were real, oh well. *sad*

That is simply gorgeous. And holy shit, awesome water colour. *envy*

The design is lovely and her pose...really captures character, you know? I absolutely love the outfit. I mean, love. The details are fabulous, the headdress is delicate yet simple, and the skirt is incredibly pretty in colour and design. And the facial expression is lovely.

My only real critique would be that I wish you could see her other hand. It's hiding, or something and I'd have liked to see it doing something. But otherwise--damn, that's just gorgeous.

What an absolutely gorgeous design on her, the colors are rich and beautiful and I love the outfit. I think her face is just so pretty, wonderful work!
